CrazeeBee Exhale!

What a lovely week this has turned out to be in the end.  It started rather rocky but I am the ocean and that makes me sooooooooo happy.  Hope you like my pic?  Me on the balcony blogging, reading and taking in the healing awesomeness of the ocean. So here is a Exhale moment on what my week has been like :

As a note, I would love to know how you doing and how your week as gone.  Please comment back by copying the themes below and letting us know how you doing.  Would love to know!

Some thoughts from me :
  • Highs - The ocean, long awesome runs along the ocean drive road, the ocean, the sea air, the sound of the ocean and the awesomeness of this little town I find myself in
  • Lows - I have been doing some interesting work which involves a deeper look at the brain, the mind and the heart connection.  Learning some awesome stuff but it also is making me have some shifts in my life.  Some ugly, annoying and yucky stuff is coming up to the surface and it is not so fun dealing with it!
  • Most proud of welcoming my family into my space and still keeping my sanity and peace.  Things can get crazy with families and mine is no different but it has been so cool having Zen and truly bonding with them
  • Most grateful for the moments of honesty and love that I can have with me, myself and I.  Truly beginning to see just how profound those moments are for my happiness and wisdom
  • You must try road running.  Such a freeing experience.  I am in South Africa and yes I also have my anxiety about venturing out in the open but it has been so much fun the past couple of days.  And the calorie counter is happy :)
  • Been loving my vacation and the ocean!

CrazeeBee Wrap Up

We now enter the  month of October and judging by my latest review of my calendar, it is going to be one busy and exciting month ahead.  It has inspired my new theme to explore called "Blessed And The City" (BATC).  watch this space for posts as I write about the fun to be had in JHB.  I feel a sense of renewed life and excitement to be lived and experienced in this Jewel In Africa.  It is like my drought of rut is over and it is all exciting times ahead. But back to this past week.

As a note, I would love to know how you doing and how your week as gone.  Please comment back by copying the themes below and letting us know how you doing.  Would love to know!

Some thoughts from me :
  • Highs - I am having more and more fun when I see how a new perspective or story changes how you deal with the world and situations.  I see it in my experiences at work, how I deal with my inner nightmares and more importantly, my openness to the new coming into my life.  It just strengthens how all our happiness and joy is tied up into how we see the world and what we believe in.  It is a yummy place to be!
  • Lows - I have been going on about this trust thing but I now I see some people in my life in a new light.  I see the truth in their trustworthiness and that is interesting as now I know a truth that enables me to deal with them in a healthier manner.  The same applies to me.  I now see where I have work to be more trustworthy to me!
  • Most proud of getting through a week with high levels of creativity!  It has been awesome to see what is manifesting in my space
  • Most grateful for my family!  Been planning a get together with them the past week. Going to be awesome to spend some time with them just being!
  • You must try using a heart rate monitor system in your workouts.  How your body reacts and deals with exercise is a fascinating learning curve
  • Been loving Glee new season and Grey's Anatomy new season has got my interest

CrazeeBee Reflections

After been out of work circulation due to illness the week before, slowly but surely been trying to get back into it in the work productive mode this past week.  A 4 day work week was hectic as they all are.  Some reflections :
  • Highs - I had moments of clarity when it came to some walls I put up that no longer serve me.  I also had some moments of clarity around my relationship with men and how to move forward on certain stories I tell myself.  The high for me is now having clarity to create a different way of being for myself which opens new doors to experience.  Exciting!
  • Lows - My eating has been pretty indulgent and overdone this past week. Have been rather overdoing the comfort eating thing.  So definitely unbalanced in some area that I am not aware of and eating my feelings away! Sigh!
  • Most proud of me starting to constructively use what I perceive as negative feedback to unpack it for it's merit and move forward constructively rather than brew unnecessarily on it
  • Most grateful for my home and the comforts / pleasures my life is blessed with.  I can do and be so much in my life today and it is truly a very powerful and blessed place to be.  Thank You God!
  • You must try the food from Thava Indian Restaurant.  Simply divine!  Check them out at www.thava.co.za
  • Been loving Ugly Betty re-runs (Major Daniel Meade Crushing), Suits (Those mean are so intellectual - Yum!) and champagne!

All About CrazeeNess

This past week has been one where I have been really sick.  It all just caught up with me in the end.  Somehow, getting this sick got me thinking about quite a bit of stuff in life.  I also got a chance to slow down which was most welcome.  Some thoughts :

  • Highs - Getting to rest and just giving my mind and body a chance to heal itself.  Quite a cool process just surrendering and letting your body do the rest.  Life got perspective and that was awesome
  • Lows - Feeling really really bad.  Whatever bug that was, it was not a good one
  • Most proud of me finally getting into a reading rhythm.  Soaking up knowledge is so good for the brain and soul
  • Most grateful for my health!  I am reminded how good health allows you to live your best life.  It is a true blessing
  • You must try a red cappuccino.  Had one today and it was marvelous.  It is the cappuccino version but all with rooibos. I was pleasantly surprised
  • Been loving and fully addicted to Mango!  I just cannot seem to get enough of it

All About Crazee-ness

Wow! So change and chaos are the theme of this week past.  What an emotionally challenging week this has been.  And the more open you are in life the more you feel! Shoo! Take a look :

  • Highs - The concept of balance hit home with that it only is a reality when you fully in the moment of now.  I went big for a spring party I attended last weekend and boy was it awesome to just throw caution to the wind and indulge in just letting go.  Important that we get more of those in our lives.  Balance the responsibility with freedom must be a way of life!
  • Lows - In my workspace, all my hard work came crashing down in one of my biggest disappointments for this year so far.  I am embarrassed, hurt and angry!  But as much as my emotions are raging and mind racing, something is different.  I am wide awake and present and I see that the best learning I could ever ask for is in the state I am in currently.  Feels crap but also it is rather fascinating!
  • Most proud of my instincts.  Whether I listened to them or not, they were spot on the past few weeks!
  • Most grateful for all the wisdom I have gathered along the way.  Amazing how it comes together when you in that place of questioning, having faith issues and simply figuring out what the story is that you want to buy into . . . . . . . . .
  • You must try pilates with a sizzling hunk of a trainer ;) They have to ensure that you positioned correctly to get the maximum benefit from the exercise, so they need to get a little physical with you at times.  And having a hot trainer do that is always welcome ;) My artists impression below of the hunk trainer I got to work with this week.  As painful as the exercises were, I loved it anyway!
  • Been loving all things French lately from the accent, to Moet (the champagne), to songs sung in French to the French man.  Yum Yum Yum.  Also, the artist impression pic below is of a French Rugby player that is based in South Africa.  Double Yum!

All About CrazeeBee

What a week the first week of September has been.  Very happy that my blog is back in action.  I hope I do get the time to pour my love and voice into this going forward like I used to.  Life has been as follows :

  • Highs - I realised that I am beginning to live the reality of an intention I set out 3 years ago.  To help shape and drive transformation in whatever I do.  My career and personal passions are beginning to come together in such a way to allow me to shape it and drive out a service.  I am sooooo grateful and hopefully I will do it justice and be a vehicle for positive change!
  • Lows - I am working a bit toooooo hard.  But I am beginning to see where I am blocked on my communication.  What I think / feel to what I say to what people hear are not aligned.  I have some work to unravel this.  But is causing me taking on work for other people :(
  • Most proud of my weight loss eating food I love!  Been 5 weeks and I am 4 kgs lighter.  Just another 9 kgs to go.  Going to be interesting with the next set of kgs to drop
  • Most grateful for all the support I get from the universe.  Absolutely amazed by all the blessings in my life to date and how things are just falling into place
  • You must try Ostrich. Been preferring it over beef these days and it goes well with everything
  • Been loving Prince Harry lately. I think I have a crush on him.  It is the ginger hair ;)

Adore Minute : Love Me At Your Best

I had one my AHA's the other day.  I do love it when they come about.  How many of us want a man to need us?  And what does needing us mean?  Does it mean that we are there to make their problems go away or help them through their struggle?  Are we there to keep them honest and keep being the better man they would like to be?  The bottom line is that some of us want a man to really need us and equate that to love!  The measure of his love is on how much he needs us around and how useful we are to them

But what if a man loved us on his best day and we could feel and know that?  When he did not need us to make him feel better or like a man.  His life is perfect and he loves us just because he can.  How powerful would that be to have him see us and love us when all he wants to just to have us for us.

I guess we are all human and will always "need" something.  And there will be "best" days and "needy" days.  What is awesome is seeing how he can love us  through those good and bad days that he has.  Here is to adoring men that show us love on their best days.  When they don't need us but love us anyway because of who we are.  Awesome!

Adore Minute : At Your Best You Are Love

We are all human and we all have those times when we are confused and we hurt those we supposedly care about.  Today was just one of those days for me.  Someone I admire, love and adore very much disappointed me in a very big way.  And it caused me to question my trust in their intentions.

But throughout knowing him, I do know there is so much more good to him than this moment he had today where I felt insulted and disrespected by his behaviour. It got me thinking though.  It takes a balance and willingness to know deep truth to be able to work through that confusion and emotion and get back to knowing that At His Best He is Love.  So here is to knowing that we have our moments where we confused and hurt those we love or care about.  But it is being willing to accept the reality and go with understanding the truth that lies beneath the confusion.

This song does say it all for me.  Enjoy and have a super evening!

May 2012 : Man Awesomeness

I really enjoyed the A to Z blog challenge during April.  I have been inspired for May to speak about the Awesomeness Of The Men in Our Lives.  I have come to realise that I do have a specific view of men.  Yes I have my template that I use to tick their worthiness against.  And to be frank, it is not like it is working for me getting someone worth investing time and getting to know.  But it looks like I am not the only one that has a template.  I am one of the masses in the gay community that works on a template.  But there the lucky ones in the gay world that look at the beauty within and take someone for who they are.  And yes, they actually find happiness.

I do see how I play my part in strengthening the community's view of what makes a good and worthy man.  All you need to do is go online and you can start seeing what is out there in terms of the "standard"  How many of us buy into it or support it by coveting men that fit that standard.  Some phrases that I have come to see out there : "Straight Acting" "No Fem" "No Fats" "Muscular wanting same" "Fit wanting same" These are mostly followed by pics of sixpacks, torsos or some form of skin.  So that is what can be the standard available for some or most to buy into.  And please don't get me wrong.  This is not me saying there is no place for it and it is bad.  If that is what works for some, it works.  For me, I am looking for that relationship that takes me deeper into understanding me, love and someone else.  So it does stand to reason, that I would struggle to get that out it if all I saw in a guy was how well his torso and abs looked and did not bother to know the person behind that.  One would need to look deeper than that!

So I have decided to take a journey this month and celebrate a man on more that what he looks like.  So join me as we celebrate the awesomeness of the men we know and men we will meet during this month.  Whether you straight or gay, the men in your life bring an amazing quality and let's celebrate that.  I will be posting a daily "Adore" post over and above my usual posts which will be my way of recognizing and loving the good in the men I meet and know.

So let us celebrate the awesomeness of the men in our lives.  Mwah!

(Z)inger!

I have absolutely no idea what word I could use for Z.  I have always managed to get something but this one was really beyond me.  So I went with Zinger.  One of my favourite sin foods has the word Zinger in it.

So as my final post for the A to Z challenge.  It ends with a thank you.  Thank you for allowing me to tap into something different and making me realise that even with a challenge on my hands, that my voice is pretty clear of what I would like to say on this blog.  And that has been such a gift for me.  To know that what I want to say from the heart is still there no matter what.  I cannot wait to do this again.

Hope April has proved to be a awesome month.  My biggest take away from April has been leap and the net will appear.  Go forth and do life from the heart and what you need comes when you need it.  That has been huge for me and I learn and live it one step at a time.

Here is to an awesome May!  Yay!

(Y)es! Say Yes!

I started the A to Z challenge after I decided to simply say yes to what was in front of me at the time.  It has been such an awesome journey.  I realised a few things along the way, the primary one being what my priorities really were about what I wanted to say.  I have not been the most disciplined and posted everyday as I should have, but I am happy I stuck with this and got to a point where I just have one more post left to get done and still have time till the end of April!  Yay!

So I would like to thank the people I have met along the way and that have taken the time to read what I have to say.  I am grateful for the energy that you have added to this blog.  It is as special as you inspire me to  make it.  So thank you!

So go ahead and say yes to the opportunities that cross your path.  You never know where it will lead you.  Enjoy the adventure!

(K)issing You!

Your presence beams like light
It shines and magnetizes
I feel the pull of you
It's gentle, it's exciting, it's safe

You are comfort in your skin
You are wise in what you see
You are soothing in what you speak
You are safety in what you hear
You are bliss when your arms wrap around me

You look at me and I am excited that you see me for me
I am happy and content having you close
I take you in and I soak in the deliciousness of your cuddles
I taste the beauty and wonder of you
I savour the moments of intimacy of knowing you

Kissing You
I experience the magnificence of you
Kissing You
I take in the beauty of you
Kissing You
Wonderfully awesome

Kissing You

(I)nspired Livin Definition

Darlins, working on the catch up! Stealing some time from a rather demanding work day to talk about one of my favourite topics.  Inspiration!

Some say that inspiration comes from spirit.  It comes from that part of you that just knows and that is connected to the source.  It comes from that place where creativity and magic flows from.

So it has all to do with being in the "flow"  And flow is easy to recognise.  It is easy, effortless and feels like something amazing is moving through you.  It seems like everything just falls into place.  And while in this flow, there comes a series of ideas and actions that come to you.  That is the power of inspired livin!  You go with the flow and you get a series of inspired ideas or actions that when you do the action, it just creates and sets up the next step.

You can look back in your life and you can pick out some times where you everything just worked out for the better and all you did was go along with the ride and take actions along the way that just brought you closer to the bliss or goal.

Simmer on that and enjoy the ride to your bliss.  Something in the past has worked out for the best for you.  Learn from that!  Mwah!

(C)ourage!

The "never been kissed" episode of Glee really got to me.  Poor Kurt was going through a lonely phase and just could not connect to that awesome side of himself and lost what it meant to just be himself.  Then he met Blaine and with that so much changed.  He was reminded of the idea of embracing courage to still follow the dream, that desire no matter what!

Yes it gets scary sometimes when you shed from what you know and step into the unknown.  But there is the promise of such delicious experiences, awareness and deeper understanding.  And courage is about the those decisions within you to allow what is in front of you to be and you take it on with the best of who you in that moment and experience.

Just recently, I took a leap and clutched my courage closer and I allowed someone to see me with my defenses down and me in my natural environment.  It seems easy but one never realises just how scary it gets to let someone see you like that with the potential of them rejecting you!  I have been so pleasantly surprised to be seen as I am and liked for that.  How the pressure just lifted and I could just be me.  Loved it!

It takes courage to step up to the unknown on its way when you follow the path to your bliss.  Things will happen that make you question but things will also happen to make you see that it's on its way to you.  So today, have the courage to do even the little things that made you back off or steer clear off before.  It does not always need to be such grand gestures to prove your courage to yourself.

Enjoy the flow of deliciousness that comes from flowing into the bliss!

(A)dventure!

Living your best life is all about the "A"dventure.  And some of us are ready to take on what that means with all the surprises and uncertainty that comes with it and some of us are simply not!  But it definitely is the leap and the net will appear when it comes to living your most blissful life.

Looking back at my life, I can truly say that in most cases, the risk, the leap, that trust in something bigger has paid off and it has been one heck of an adventure where I find myself stronger, wiser and happier than before. So welcome to the blissful life that comes from living from the whispers of inspiration that are innate within all of us.

The journey calls for trust, faith, awareness and love.  As you keep these close to you, you take the first step and the next.  And as you go, the path lights up in front of you as you go along.  It is the most amazing feeling to breathe in life and understand just how much limitless opportunities exist in this world for you to enjoy simply by allowing it.

Adventures are exciting and remarkable!  It gets exciting and remarkable when you see just how limitless things can get and how beautifully everything can be timed and fits the situation, experience so harmoniously.  It gets remarkable when you realise just how much you play a huge role in your experience and how powerful you really are just as you are!

So let's invite our desire, our dreams, our light to come in and shine the path forward for us to step into and experience all the blissful adventure of living our best life.  Let's buckle our seatbelts and reflect, look forward and fuel desire.  Yum!

A to Z Challenge

It has been ages since I posted!  I have been down and stuck on the blog inspiration.  I will admit that the creative juices have been at a minimum.  So look forward to April being all about new challenges.  Here is to me taking "saying yes" and see where it leads me.  Enjoy!

Say YES!

My Darlins!  It has been such a long time since I posted.  I have been very overwhelmed with so much that is happening in my life, so I do apologise for not taking the time to have my say CrazeeBee style for the past few weeks.  If anything, the past few days have let me see the importance of "saying yes" to opportunities that life brings your way.  There is this concept that when you have the courage to give into your desire and dreams and start putting that out there, that the Universe starts to conspire to make it come true.  This is where this whole concept of inspired action comes from which has been the catch phrase for this blog.

It is being tapped into your soul's voice and being able to take inspired action to make your dreams come true.  It is that action that you know feels right to your core and you simply just go with it!  It is so amazing when you just in the right place, right time with the right mindset and everything just works out.  Some call it luck but some know it can be deliberate!  What a concept!

But that can be a scary place as in most cases the way, the path or the how is not very clear to you.  And the ask is to go with what is in front of you trusting that all you need to know unfolds when it has to. That is a scary place.  As in some cases, you have to give up what you know, what you hold onto and what you think makes you feel safe and go into spaces and territory that is new and not known to you or even familiar to you.  Sometimes and for some people, saying yes is scary!

This month let's explore how to have the fear and do it anyway!  Let's look at how we tap into the creative forces, wisdom and intuition that is gifted to us to say yes to life's opportunities and that it all works out as it should.  Here is to new opportunities and riding the wave they offer us.

A Month In Review : Being Of Service

I started off February with some very ambitious intentions in terms of service and what that would mean to give back to Mother Earth, the next generation and to those that matter.  Through this intention, I have come to learn just how important it is to take care of yourself, be fully responsible for yourself and keep working at it.  It is never just a once off effort that you do and then you can stagnate thereafter.  There is a constant call for you to be responsible for your happiness and adjusting as you go along.

I can truly see how when you are aligned to your highest empowering priorities, that you are inspirational to others.  When you in the flow of your bliss that you can be an uplifting energy to those around you.  In some cases it does mean that you could let go of expectations from other people to do things to make you happy.  It is where you need to step up and take responsibility for your life and how it is lived.  That is one of the greatest act of service you can do for those that matter.  Being your happiest as a result of your choices and action, not expecting someone to do all that work for your happiness.

So take that time you need to get your sanity back or to hear your inner voice.  Start looking at what you need to do on a regular basis to keep you plugged into yourself and staying aware to deepen your understanding.  Get into those rituals that make you have fun and keep it light for you.  When you plugged into the awesomeness of you, you are definitely of service to the world.

With Love

February 2012 : Being Of Service

February is traditionally the month of love and romance.  But in the Crazeebee Livin world, there has been inspiration to BE OF SERVICE this month.  So I invite you all to join me in the adventure of being of service to this world.  It goes without saying that to be of service, you need to come from a place of goodness and wholeness for it to truly reward on all levels.  And as we journey let's unpack that when you give, it is truly fair exchange!

For CrazeeBee, service comes in so many forms, but the ones I would like to work with this month are around giving back to Mother Earth.  This theme has been screaming at me from all angles, so I need to look at what this means.  I would like us to explore how we be of service in our romantic relationships as it is an area of personal growth in the past few months for me.

Watch out for food recipes that I will be sharing in my Food Is Love section.  I am finding such rewards from healthier delicious recipes and would like to share them with you all.  I lost so much weight just by planning the right meals for the week and getting them prepared earlier in the week.  Lastly, I would like to explore how one embraces stewardship and leaves the wisdom available to the next generation.

So let's take this month of love and look at service and how we can inhabit that!  How we can give without losing who we are.  How we live the concept of fair exchange between what we receive versus what we give.  I can see that those that give effortlessly and stay whole are given back so much more for their lives.  Worth exploring!
