There Is A Space For You

There is a space deep in my heart
All welcoming with no expectation
All warm and safe
It is this space where freedom is known and felt
Where you can flow into me
Where I can flow into you
Where we can go on adventure
To deepen understanding and wisdom
To feel deeply, to express honestly and safely
To Be As We Are
In this now
I feel it
I embrace it
I live it
This Vacuum of Space
That Vibrates with Love
It's for you
Welcome

Would You Date Yourself?

The answer you give speaks volumes of what you putting out there!

Your Story That Needs Telling!

We have all been there.  Someone belts out harsh words our way and they stick!  They cut through and hurt us like hell.  We get offended, defensive or angry when we think about what that person has said to us.  It happened to me a few days back.  The words stuck to my heart like thorns and boy did it hurt.

I had a thought though.  It hurts because there is an element of truth in what was said.  Deep down, if you really honestly looked inside, you would see that you do believe whatever was said.  So an idea could be that on some level it is a truth that you have not been confronting or shining a light on to decide your next step.  So life does what it does best.  It finds a way for you to hear your truth to either embrace it or release it!  And all so you can take the next step to take you closer to that better life.

So the next time someone says something you find offensive or hurtful, it may just be a story that needs telling that you carry deep inside you.  Why do you maybe need to hear it?

Well I believe, that it creates an opportunity for you to choose!  Choose whether to continue carrying that story or choose to embrace a different perspective or view by releasing what you currently hold.  A hurtful person may just be life's way to help shine a light on the stories you hold dear and deep that do not serve you.

A thought . . . . . . . . . .

Bless Rugby Players - Jaco Pretorius

I was at the Vodacom Bulls versus the DHL Stormers the other day.  Firstly, sooooo awesome watching rugby live.  It takes me back to my younger days when my dad was a big time rugby player and we would go support his team.  So I could not take my eye off the Blue Bulls player number 13 during the game.  I give you the yummy Blue Bulls player Jaco Pretorius!

Kurt and Blaine Kiss on Glee

Glee has not hit SA shores as yet but blessings to YouTube.  I had to share this from one of my favourite blogs.  I am sooooooooo happy that this has finally happened and it is just the sweetest thing.  Yay!

I am in this space of embracing the pureness and deepness that teenage love brings.  We have all been there.  We know how deep we felt, how intense and how wonderful it all was.  Teenage love reminds me of us not losing the innocence and deepness that comes from being in that wonderful position to understand yourself and another person on a deeper level.

Enjoy the moment!

Fair Exchange : Relationships vs You : Who Owns the Work?

This has been a big lesson of late for me.  How do you hold people accountable around you?  How strong are you with filtering the real issue when dealing with other people?  For my life, I have see how this adds extra complexity and stress when I take on someone else's issue and solve it for them.  I am seeing how time is being  drained from my week to solve the problems of others which at the end of the day, does not help that person nor myself.  They do not learn how to own their happiness and get aligned to the flow of their life and I am left frustrated for neglecting myself.

This is something big to get for me!  That it is ok to allow people to figure out what they need to do for themselves to make themeselves better, happier or stronger.  It will never be my job to control or take action for another's life and what they need to do to make it work.

So be aware of where you take on the "work" of making someone else happier, more at peace or keeping them together.  It is important to inspire their action rather than take it on and do it for them.  You end up with no time for you, for what makes you happy and keeps you sane.

So Today, make the choice to take on the work for your life and leave the rest where it belongs.  The responsibility of the other person to seek happiness for their life!
