The Grass Being Greener On The Other Side . . . . .

I was asked this question the other day.  Is the grass really greener on the other side when it comes to relationships?  I surprised myself when I took a moment to think about it and share my view or idea on the concept.

Does it matter what colour the grass is on the other side when it comes to comparing what you have in a relationship and looking at what is out there?  We are attracted to a partner because there is something great they give us.  Whether it is good for us or not is another point.  The point is that we gain some value from having that partner integrate their life with us.

It's when we ask ourselves am I able to give that greatness to myself that an interesting answer unfolds.  Some of us look for life discipline which we admire in our partner and hope that it rubs off.  Some of us want to constantly feel sexy and valued and adoration and hero syndrome from our partner gives us that.  Some us want someone we can just be ourselves with and have that be ok and get that from our partner.  And the list goes on.  The simple question if you replace "partner" with yourself, are you in a position to give that greatness to yourself?

When you get to a point where the question is yes, the colour of the grass on the other side does not matter at all.  It comes down to a knowing!  A knowing that you are enough, that you have the talent and ability and love to give yourself all the greatness you can desire.  So bring on the other side because baby you are ready in any case.

For One Day, Let Them Off The Hook!

For one day, try this out and see what it does for you.  Look at who are your LOVE DEALERS!  Those people that relieve you from your pain and fear.  Just being in their presence brings a sense of safety and peace into your life.  For one day, give permission to yourself and them that they are off the hook to  make your day, make you happy, make you safe and peaceful.  Do it for yourself!

Song Crush : I Am!

In life, you will see that no matter what the subject in your life, love comes about for that subject by others when you have pioneered the way to love and adore it first!  This song is all about you.  That no one can love a subject better than you.  You have to love it first and to the best love that you are capable of.  The love from others follows as a natural consequence.  Tune into that frequency and see what that does for your life. Yum!

The Royal Wedding

Some thoughts from my side on The Royal Wedding.

1. William is really cute!  When I saw him chatting away when he got to the church and just how relaxed and full of fun he was, I was like what a prince to marry.  I am still not over him getting bald but he is cute!
2. I was teary eyed throughout most of the live viewing.  I had to PVR it, so only got to watch all of it the next day.  It was truly a fairytale happening for real!  It does not get more romantic and special than that
3. Kate looked elegant and modest.  I will admit that I was expecting a little wow factor somewhere on her dress. But it was all about her and as long as she was happy, that really is all that matters
4. I am constantly amazed at how the power of the British monarchy exists in today's world.  It is a true wonder
5. I wonder how it feels to have that much spotlight and attention?  I get a sense of being overwhelmed but OMG that is a huge amount of attention!  They handled it like pros
6. All the best to William and Kate.  They look like a truly blessed and happy couple.  Love and happiness be theirs
