Friday Inspiration - It Is Worth It

I am in week 2 of my medical diet.  It has not been the easiest road so far as all my patterns are screaming at me and it is fascinating just how distracted one can live! So there is a mental and emotional detox that I am going through seeing that I have cut out my number 1 drug that numbs and takes it away when I need to escape.

This is the thing with going through change!  You do lose sight of the shore at times and this is where some faith and focusing on the bigger picture helps.  I wish you all the courage, faith and awareness as you experience any good change that you are going through. Friday Inspiration : Nothing Is What It Seems

Hello darlins. I really hope life has been kind, good and awesome to you all.  Shoo!  Just when you think things are calming down, a new wave hits you and you end up dealing. So sorry I have been scarce but wow has it been crazy since I last posted.

Remember that nothing is what it seems.  We only know a part of a perspective and there is always a broader one.  Ask for the faith that although you cannot see the full staircase and can only see the first 2 steps at a time, that you can take the next step and know there will be stairs to where you need to be.

Some Awesome Advice!

I can so relate to this with what I have been going through lately.  And if you brave enough to open your mind, you will realise that your thoughts, the food you eat, the experiences you go through, the music you listen to, the people that surround you, the way you arrange your space at work and home and the way to perceive life all work in energy, frequency and vibration.  And this is where it gets rather simple!  Like Attracts Like!  So start off by looking at what exists today and what it does to raise your energy, your frequency and vibration.  It is all about that which takes you higher literally!  Hugz!

(T)he (T)aming Power Of God / Universe

I have been really touched by the wisdom of the I Ching.  It is powerfully basic and a truth that you just cannot deny no matter how much you want to angle your excuses!  So my last I Ching session, I came across the concept of taking small steps while the storm rages and gets what it needs to get done for calm to come back.  This was so interesting as it spoke to what I posted a few days earlier around "Quickies". Such a similar sentiment and just goes to show where my vibration was that attracted this deeper answer to explore.  So there is something for me to work with with small steps rather than ambitious ones! Fun Fun!

Anyhoo, the big message I would like to share is the following.  The stormy seas are going to be a reality in your life.  But the calm smooth seas will also be a reality.  And as with everything in life, they are temporary arrangements and must change.  But while you stuck in the stormy seas and the waves and chaos are around, it is knowing how you hold onto your life boat, that object that will always float no matter how bad the storm gets.  And as you clutch on tight to that life boat / object that floats no matter what.  You let God / The Universe calm the storm.  That is soooo powerful for me.  The concept that my job is to hold onto the object that will always float and let God calm the stormy seas.  When it is calm, you continue to move to where you need to be.

So this is just a reminder that the small steps make a difference and they have their place.  While the bigger storm of your life moves to calming down, it is the little steps that make you strong and allow you to rise and be who you need to be when the dust settles.  Yay!

(R)endezvous

How exciting does it get planning a vacation?  And how exciting does it get when you eventually rendezvous with your vacation spot?  How exciting is it when you go on your first date?  And then you walk in the room and see him and the rendezvous is soooo sweet!  How exciting is it when you achieve a major milestone in a work project after putting in so much heart and sweat and blood?  When you rendezvous with the success, there is such an amazing flowing through you.

The trick is to tap into positive anticipation! With the above examples, the fruit tasting sweet is a mere formality. You have already been on the journey of enjoying and soaking in the awesomeness out of the moment.  So this post is dedicated to taking any subject in your life and working on upping how you can positively anticipate the awesomeness on its way.  You have done this before with planning a vacation, a party, a date or doing something special for loved ones.  The same rules apply with more imagination and feeling from your side as that is magic of making it a reality.

(P)ut It On Blast!

So this post is about fine tuning that signal you transmitting out there.  There is this thinking out there that we constantly transmit a signal out there.  Call this our way of putting that order out there and it being delivered to you.  So it would be interesting for you to know what you sending / transmitting out there.  What I can add is that it does come down to the feeling or emotion n a subject that drives the transmission.  The more you get into a feeling place on whatever subject, the stronger the transmission out there to receive your order.

So get into your feeling place.  They are the levers to giving out what you get back to what you give out.

(O)pportunities Exist In Limitless Ways

Just like breathing, the next opportunity to take you closer to your happiness does exist.  The Universe is limitless in what it can do to provide you with the next step to take to get you to where you need to be.  Sometimes we do not want to see it, hear it or experience it.  But when we drop the fear, drop the resistance and simply allow, then we open the path and the next step comes as it must to get us to where we need to be.

Simply think about how things came together for something you always wanted and you finally got it.  It might not have been as you planned it, it was better and bigger than you dreamed.  And when you think about it, you realise that the next steps and opportunities where always available to you to explore and experience.

So today, simply dream the dream and know that the next step to that dream is available to you!  Mwah!

(H)EAT It Up!

Darlins, my sincerest apologies for no posts lately but this boy has had a bout of food poisoning!  But I am better now and have some catch up to do.  Exciting challenge non the less!

So for the letter H, it is about HEATING things up in your life.  So not advisable to set things to flame literally, but let's look at the metaphor.  When you apply heat there is softening, a melting a sense of that object moulding into something else.  And all this means is that when you apply the warmth, gentleness and safety of love to any subject or situation, there is an opportunity for it to change and open up something new for you to see and experience.  EXCITING!

Personally over the past couple of weeks I am seeing how this changes how I see the same problem and allows me to deal with it differently.  By shifting your position to a situation, it makes the difference in how you deal with it.  So recommended that you give it a try.

So take a story, a negative believe or even something you feel is not working and warm it up with some love and gentleness.  If you can do this consistently, you will surprised as what transformation can come of it.  I dare you, HEAT things up!

(E)ducate Yourself

Sorry for the late post.  Hectic Day!  Anyhooooooooooooo

I have learnt that education is the greatest gift you can give yourself and others.  And yes, in my country, people sing, preach and go on about how important education is for the future of the country and the one thing we should insist our kids have.  But I would like to spend a bit of time of what true education really means to me!

I have degrees behind my name and yes I am one of those straight A students.  The only place I like it straight (hehehehehehe).  But education to me is not how well you know a subject like Maths, Science etc For me education is deepening your awareness and understanding of a subject.  It is unpacking layers and getting to a truth that makes you simply understand something on various dimensions or levels.

And what better education is there for you to pick the subjects that create your best life.  Some subjects include Yourself as the Person, What is means to forgive and live in that, How to work through dischord, How to understand others, How to love yourself, How to love others, How to invite and allow inspiration, basically how to be at your best in any situation!

It starts with a curiousity, an awareness and a journey to unpacking and understanding.  So know today, that going to a university, or getting tons of degrees does not really get you educated!  Is it when you apply your curiousity, your openness, you awareness that you start your powerful education process and start to unpack and understand deeper.  And somehow, life will play along.  When you go in with openness and curiousity, events unfold, books will come your way, opportunities will come that will help and life even puts teachers in your space to get you there.  And it starts with a open mind and heart!

It is about choosing the subjects that will bring you to your best life!  Go on!  Educate yourself!

(D)esire Paves Your Way

Desire!  We all have it.  It is the driver of creation in my opinion.  Not sure if any of you have read "Ask and It Is Given" by Jerry and Ester Hicks (Teachings of Abraham) ? If so, hopefully it has had the profound effect on your wisdom and perception of what we are capable of as humans as it has done for me.

What has been a fascinating discovery for me is that we Ask whether we conscious or not conscious of it.  And that is where desire comes in.  When our desire flames up while we are in an experience, or dreaming or simply taking a moment to understand what we want, we ask and transmit this to the Universal Order Catalogue.  So our reaction or response to something, a situation, a person or an experience shoots off the order based on our desire in that moment.

The trick is awareness on seeing it evolve and become clear for you as you go along life.  It is kinda like getting a series of puzzle pieces along the way and one day you figure out how to click them all into place and in that instant of the click you clearly see the picture.  I so love it when those moments of clarity happen!

So today, start taking note of what you feel in the moment or in a situation.  If the room froze for a minute and a magic fairy godmother asked you what do you want right now in this moment!  The answer to that question are the seeds of your desire.  Play with this and see how your clarity will unfold of what you put out there to come back to you.  Yum Yum!

Without You! Really?

So, my attention has been on "LURV SONGS"! And no it is not what you thinking. . . . . . . . . . .

I have just notice something about certain love songs that are beginning to make me question than just blindly singing along.  So I have noticed that some love songs speak about how this person will be there forever and how this person is the answer to the one's prayers and just makes life perfect.

I keep on thinking how unfair to that other person that you would claim to love.  How unfair to expect someone to be the "answer" to all your problems, your challenges, your unhappiness or simply to make you feel good about life!  How unfair!  So when those songs beautifully speak to how life is worthless without the person and not even worth living, is that really true?

I am seeing that everyday as an adult is about choice.  On the one side you have your parents, your heroes, your perfect men that got away or your friends that have it all versus on the other side, your higher wisdom, your higher power or God (for some).  And that choice now comes to a point where you choose to keep expecting someone to take care of it for you.  Whether it is  to feel good, take action to better your life, have fun, be happy, be healthy etc.  Each day is a choice of where you put that expectation and on who?

The reality is that it is so much easier with a person and yes we get immediate results but they are not sustainable.  That person is human and will disappoint you and then you back to the reality of what next to give you that good feeling you crave.  Turning to God, The Universe, Higher Power, Higher Self, whatever you would like to call it, means that you have to trust in yourself and your access to that.  It does come down to you being responsible and owning that.  Everyday, I believe we are confronted with that choice in whatever situation or experience we find ourselves in.

You can think back to when you were a child.  You looked to your parents for guidance, for security and trusted in their ability to guide to what was right for you.  But for some, that was not even there for them.  They could see how perfectly human and flawed their parents were and lost that faith in something bigger and wiser than themselves. And the other extreme is still having parents decide for kids that are already adults with kids of their own.  Some could have had a profound love / romantic relationship that helped them explore some of the deepest parts of their heart and losing that amazing mirror of amazingness is hard to let go of.

There are times when the people around us are needed to help us find our answer or go to that place to get to understand ourselves on a deeper level.  But we forget that to get to those places we need to go  through a series of choices.  Choices that we make ourselves and through choices we make alone.  And that is the trick.  Ultimately, it is us making those decisions and we forget that.

So when I hear these love songs speak about how life cannot go on, and how one can never be the same or whole again, or how they could never love that way again and how useless they are without that person not around, I say stop it!  I say ok, maybe for this moment you feel that way, but then there is the next moment where you realise that you still breathing! Then you realise that you have a life!  Then you realise that you have choice and with choice you take that next step and eventually you can decide to let go of the expectation to have someone make you happy and safe.  It's just unfair to expect that of someone.

When I look at my drama over the past few weeks, I am now seeing how I expect certain things to be taken care of by certain people I love.  There were things that were not there for me as a child and stuff I so needed from my Dad to make me feel safe and ok and that no matter what, things would be alright.  And I see how me still expecting that from him today translates into my other relationships that I cherish.  And now is the time to let go and stop expecting that from him!  That time for him to have given that to me is over and whatever I need from him today is available to me from myself as I am now an adult.  So everyday is a CHOICE to either expect him and other forms of him to give me my happiness or myself with the help and grace of God.

The Gift Of Talent

This week I have been reminded of how we have our own talents and when we step into it and shine our light, how it allows others to show their light.  When you watch a master at play and stay aware and observe, there is so much you can learn from that person.  It is comforting when you decide to stay open to what the gift that person offers in the form of their talent.  When you go from that feeling of insecurity and open up to how can I do today better than yesterday, the people around you offer you the insight, inspiration and gift of "how" in the form of them being in their talent and using it to add value.

Open up to seeing how others can enlighten you and offer you gifts to grow who you are.

The Stories / Thoughts That Nurture You

Darlins, so sorry that I have been out of commission for the past couple of days.  More shifts inside me and some big shifts in life.  The waves are high and simply trying to ride them.  So this week is still about looking at what nurtures and sustains you.  It is so interesting when you ask yourself that question everytime you want to comsume experiences, food, sex, men, work, highs and lows.

Does this nurture me?  Will it sustain me?  Will this serve my highest good?

I believe the biggest source of nurture for us is the thoughts and stories that we tell ourselves.  They support how we experience the world, how we respond to situations and how we evolve closer to our bliss.  You are in control of your thoughts and your stories which means you have the POWER.

I have discovered a wonderful process by Byron Katie.  Hopefully this inspires you to look at your thoughts and stories and nurture yourself with goodness!

Friday Inspiration : Innovation : It's In The Little Things

Today's inspiration is a very simple yet powerful one.  I am busy reading through one of Robin Sharma's books called "The Leader Who Had No Title".  It is turning out to be a fascinating read.  What am I loving so far about the book is that I am able to apply the ideas immediately without having to wait for someone else's permission or a certain event to occur.  I can decide and so it will be.

The concept to soak in is this :
You can start today by understanding what can be done better, where you can breathe creativity in and where you can make the small changes to make a situation, an activity or yourself better!  That is innovation!

If you could just focus on making it a little better the next day than the day before, over time you will see an amazing transformation.  You can apply this to any subject in your life. Whether it be personal or professional.  Look at what makes this day better than yesterday and simply start doing it.  It does not mean grand gestures.  It is the gradual little pieces that you could improve on.
