Game! Set! Love It!

Tennis is one of my favorite sports.  It is the true test of champions for me.  There are so many variables to put up with in the court from weather conditions, an interactive crowd and your opponent.  What I love is the mental game that goes on in tennis.  How you can have the odds stacked against you and then with belief you either turn it around or not.  Most of the winners that I have noticed are those with the strongest mental game and you can see that!  There is already trust in the talent, skills and experience to do the job.  All that they work on is the mental story!

For me that is how life is.  We all have the tools, skill and talent to be happy and live awesome lives.  It is the focus on the mental story that makes the difference to those who have the greatness and those that do not.  Below a list of my all time favorite Tennis Stars!

6.  Serena Williams

No one can deny the tons of belief this women has.  It does not matter the score, the player, the crowd condition, she believes she has won the match and goes for it regardless.  Champion indeed!  A belief in her ability no matter the situation!

5.  Boris Becker

Love at 17 in Wimbledon.  Just another character on court.  Boris is really one of a kind.  The German giant.  I think his quirkiness on court got the attention backed by talent ofcourse!

4.  Roger Federer

Mr record breaker.  Very much a class act and excellence in every part of himself and game.  The stuff legacy is made of.  He is a champion of note!











3.  Maria Sharapova

I fell in love with her when she won Wimbledon at 18 years old.  She was just a breathe of fresh air.  She has one of the toughest and focused minds that I know of in the game.  Love it!

2.  Pete Sampras

Just a sexy and scientific player.  Loved watching him wind up as he went from strength to strength in a game.  His on court break down really put him in a special place in my heart.  Mr All Heart on court.  Loved it!

1. Steffi Graf

Consistent, mentally tough and a air of excellence always surrounded her.  She simply ruled the game for so long.  I loved watching her and her absolute love of the game.  Always a lady, always true to herself and the game.  And now after doing her best on the courts, she settles down with the man of her dreams and living happily ever after.  How excellent!
